HUMAN RIGHTS

Human RIGHTS:-

The United Nations has defined a broad range of rights, including civil, culture, economic, political and social rights which are accepted Internationally. There are more than 30 rights including above all. These rights are not granted by the states. They are universal rights inherent  to us all, regardless of nationality, colour, national or ethnic origin,language etc.., 
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), was formed by United Nations on 10th December 1948. Human rights includes Right To Life, Right To Liberty, Right To Privacy, Right To Freedom From Slavery And Torture, Right To Freedom Of Opinion And Expression, Right To Work And Education, etc.. has a human beings we all individuals are equal and have equal human rights. Every human being is entitled to these rights without any discrimination. All the sustainable development goals including the rights written above,promotes basic human rights. To promote the awareness about the human rights of the people, Human Rights Day is celebrated on 10th December every year. The day is adopted by the United Nations general assembly in 1948 by UDHR. 

Human rights are reflecting on Fundamental Rights, Duties And Directive Principles Of State Policy  of our Indian constitution.

Fundamental Rights:
  •  Right to freedom. 
  • Right against exploitation. 
  • Right to Property. 
  • Right to Life. 
  • Right to Freedom of Religion. 
  • Right To Freedom Of Education, etc., 
  • Right to Equality. 

Fundamental duties:-

  • Protect sovereignty & integrity of India. 

  • To Build a Common Brother-Hood.

  • Follow the rules of the constitution and respect the national flag and emblem. 

  • Follow idols of the freedom struggle.

  • When called, we shall be ready to defend the country and render National services.

  • To ensure the prohibition of liquor.

  • To safeguard public property.

  • To preserve our environment.

  • To ensure that all the childrens of the city are getting educated.

There are more than these fundamental duties written above. 



Directive Principles of State Policy:-

  • To establish a well-versed society in the country. 

  • To follow the guidelines given by the central and state government.

  • To implement Uniform Civil Code throughout the country.

  • To pay equally for equal work for both men and women to produce labour welfare.

  • To separate the executive from the judiciary.

  • To provide public assistance to those who are old, sick and weak or helpless.

  • To provide adequate means of livelihood to all citizens.

  • To protect historical monuments and maintain places of historical interest.

  • To provide opportunities for the development of Health and preschool education to all the children below 6 years.



There are more than these directive principles of State Policy written above.



According to the United Nations, 30 million people are dying from hunger worldwide. Millions of people are deprived of clean water, shelter , education, vaccines and other health assistance. Instead of promptly celebrating Human Rights Day and blaming the game of rich Nations, Nations should come together to take the responsibility and act on the ground level. There is no meaning in celebrating Human Rights Day when lots of people around the world are deprived of their basic human rights.
